I was asked by someone in France had I seen a photo of the Vaesu not Yaesu UV8DR and so I asked around with the factory and can now publicise the photo so you can see it. The radio can be had if you are looking around for between $36-$50 but this cost excludes shipping to the EU or anywhere else and excludes also all duties and taxes.
  
And before I am asked, no I’ve never used one, never seen one and never heard one on the air. But otherwise boy it looks like something else in the radio world and note the nameless photo, it can come with whatever name you’d like it to be of course. Radio comes with 136-174 and 400-520Mhz on board and also 12.5 and 25khz steps. But what is interesting when asked if IPX7 or submersible the answer was NO. So not sure why advertise also something clearly not right it seems.
