Stryker SR-447HPC2 “Out Now”

August and finally a new 10m radio. According to a writer in the about section it’s seems the radio is now available! An interesting radio as under the hood there is something for all. Based on the chassis of the QX 6666 it will be interesting to see who brings this radio to Europe? Must be someone.

Can’t help it, I like it! The s-meter being large and sort of old school but nice rounded digit C in channel change its just been thought out well.

AM/FM, 55 watts,

RF Power control, Rf Gain,

Mic Gain, Band control,

Variable dimmer,

Multiple display colors, SWR,

Variable Talk-back,

NEW heat sink design, ROUND Meter, etc. etc.

If you drive at night, you will appreciate the new 30 stage dimmer, which on its lowest setting turns all lights off.The 447HPC2 10 meter radio includes our famous variable talkback, never settle for anything less! This is a NEW design radio and has many more features than listed**

** I know some of the features and they are excellent. But we need to see if it comes or not to EU and guess it’ll be premium price group it it does land.

Well done Stryker, looks nice indeed.

  1. Looks nice, but if it is based on a 6666 chassis, why have they stripped SSB from it? Sideband is so much better for any non local (10+ miles), gets more distance and isn’t full cycle on transmit, so it is quite hard to do damage to the radio.
