So Antenna was ordered and paid via PayPal and shipping was organized with Fedex. So the antenna showed that delivery would be 31st August 2020 and it was in transit from Dartford in Kent. Go forwards to yesterday and it showed exactly the same as before and no changes so made a call to Fedex in Hungary and learned the following interesting things.
Ignore tracking as it means nothing. With Covid-19 the time for shipping can be from 15-21 business days across Europe. (But had packages in three days DPD and overnight from all other couriers and from Hong Kong in 22 hours)
I was told “it’s going to come but when exactly I don’t know”
From Thursday till Monday it had moved from Dartford to Northern France
He was as useful as hot air on an ice cream. Had no idea why was really so late other than his pre-prepared speech about COVID19
Wasn’t helpful at all
Didn’t care at all
Ended the call with this crowning remark “it was shipped very cheaply so takes time” I paid £32 for shipping. Saying that have paid less with other couriers and got the items much faster via road delivery.
Top Class Fedex…
So we see if, when it comes was it worth the wait.
