*NEW* Radtel RT-20 SDR Multi Norm SSB Radio

Thank you so much Loic for the information and this one came as a surprise as expected it as a Baofeng or Maxlog so maybe we need wait for those. Interesting it comes with a programming cable now that’s meaning some software will be around too

  1. I swear, these SSB radios keep getting smaller and smaller. If this radio or the Luiton 310-SDR’s SSB output wattage were in the 25-50 watt range, I would definitely purchase it for the Wife’s pickup, but that high of a wattage output is probably not going to be produced, and I really don’t think the heat sink is large enough for the 40-50 watt range. Perhaps for the lighter duty-cycle of SSB, but not 50 watts FM full duty-cycle.

I don’t know what the specs on the President Jack will be, but the Jack would be the perfect size for my Wife’s pickup. She is a licensed amateur radio operator like me, and would like to be able to communicate with each other, because there are many cellular phone/mobile dead zones in our area. She is only a Technician class licensee, but we would be able to communicate on the 10 meter band. If the USA gets the Jack, 40-50 watts output on SSB would be perfect. I just hope that the Jack will be able to contain the extra hardware needed for that extra power. There are two AM/FM ham radios made by President (one in the lower-priced tier, the Ronald, and the higher-tiered Richard II, but only one ham radio with the SSB mode. The Jack could be the lower-tiered amateur radio with SSB, with the awesome Washington being the higher-tiered. Cheers to you!

  2. I wonder how many other versions of this radio will show up?

Has there been any updates about the TYT mini cb with SSB? Is it real and has there been any reports on it?
I’m curious if it’s the same as the above radio in a slightly different case.

    • Baofeng Mini SSB
Maxlog 310 SDR or 301 SDR
      TYT Mini SSB
      Aquario RP70
      Radtel RT 20 SDR
      Luiton 310 SDR

When you look at this it has some features more akin Aquario and different to the others. And about the TYT Mini SSB I’m told it’s coming, just needs time same as the others mentioned here also.
