As conversation is getting more and more intense about the idea or indeed possibility or reality of UHF CB Radio I have been sent details of two Uniden radios that are now on sale and used in Australia. I will put the specifications below and will add I like the idea that at least one of these offers extra receive ability of 400-520Mhz with 12.5KHz steps. In my mind where there is extra receive ability sure there can be hidden there some extra transmit ability.
Very President William in design and to this I would add that the handset on the William would be nice as optional extra to many more of the new ranger of radios. Imagine a Grant II with a RJ45 socket on the back for connecting external handset?

Above is the sales brochure and guess being Uniden it is ROHS Approved? So would need CE Approval and legality in EU to be sold (maybe) Myself, been backing integration for UHF CB Radio since 2002. It will come am sure of it, just think will not be pan EU and can take a long time.
