Soon again it will be contest time and seems many a station will be heading to the hills for the “SSB Contest 2016” which is being held by the HNDX Group. They’ve already ran the very successful FM contest and we will enclose the results to a link below so you can see the winners and the prizes for this excellent event. Even I will be on air from the 1300m+ during the contest.

  
So this contest I’m trying hard to be a part of it. I’ll be 1300m+ in the mountains and guess the SSB station of desire as it needs to be street legal set up will be: President Jackson II, Standard Microphone or a Sadelta. Antenna: As usual I’ll have with me a small selection, there will be the President Texas 1800 Power, Sirio Performer 5000 and the third?? Not sure at the moment as mostly it is weather dependent at the location.
